The Hyatt Regency Hill Country
9800 Hyatt Resort Drive
San Antonio, TX78251
The Hyatt Regency Hill Country sits on what was once 2,828.97 acres of the
Rogers-Wiseman ranch. The many different tracts and surveys of
this particular piece of historical and much-traded land have direct ties to some of
the most pivotal people and events in Texas history.
In 1990, with the Rogers-Wiseman family branching out and the city
moving ever closer, the family decided to sell 200 acres of the ranch to
a group of companies assembled by Woodbine Development Corporation of
Dallas. The team had great plans – a Hyatt Regency resort capturing the
essence of Texas’ historic Hill Country. A place as enjoyable for new
guests as it was for those of times past - a careful blend of old and
new.
