The Hyatt Regency Hill Country sits on what was once 2,828.97 acres of the
Rogers-Wiseman ranch. The many different tracts and surveys of
this particular piece of historical and much-traded land have direct ties to some of
the most pivotal people and events in Texas history.
In 1990, with the Rogers-Wiseman family branching out and the city
moving ever closer, the family decided to sell 200 acres of the ranch to
a group of companies assembled by Woodbine Development Corporation of

At The Arc of San Antonio, we dedicate ourselves to enhancing the quality of life for all children and adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
For over 60 years, we have committed ourselves to providing a continuum of services for these individuals and their families. Today, these services include outreach & support for families caring for individuals with disabilities, day habilitation for adults and after-school and summer care for children with special needs.
THE ARC'S IMPACT IN THE COMMUNITY
-Each year, 322 adults and 92 kids attend The Arc’s adult day habilitation and after-school program each day at our two locations
-Our outreach and support staff work with over 1000 families in Bexar County to provide them with the resources they need to continue moving forward
-Last year, The Arc hosted 11 workshops & 1 extensive resource fair for the community
-Each month, Arc participants take over 50 outings where they engage in the community. Our V.I.P. Participants (Volunteer Involvement Program) give 405 hours a month of their time back in service
